Design is History is website done as a part of the graduate thesis of designer Dominic Flask. Is a teaching tool for young designers just beginning to explore graphic design and as a reference tool for all designers. It covers couple of main time point in design: 1450, 1650, 1920, 1940 (Emil Ruder, Armin Hofmann, Joseph Müller-Brockmann, etc), 1960 (Chermayeff & Geismar, Herb Lubalin, etc ), 1980, 2000, not being too detail but being mainly reference to take you further from this point, via links and other references.
