It must be communication in its most intense form.\u00ab Today of course this dictum is taken for granted, but back in 1923 when it was formulated by the Bauhaus maestro L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Moholy-Nagy, it was explosive stuff. The first halting steps towards such a \u201cNew Typography\u201d were taken almost precisely 100 years ago \u2013 and that is reason enough to take a look back at these fundamental changes in this new series.<\/p>\n<p>Starting with <a href=\"https:\/\/novum.graphics\/en\/magazine\/shop-subscribe\/detail\/novum-0617\/\">novum 06.17<\/a> Patrick R\u00f6ssler, professor of communication sciences, will take a look at functional graphic design and the concept of New Typography.
