Our surprise #2 was work of Jacob Epstein ‘The Rock Drill’ at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. Jacob Epstein (1880-1959) one of the leading British sculptors of the twentieth century born in America.

Also while ago Tate Modern did the project around the gallery called ‘Tate Tracks’, an experiment between art and music, where twelve bands were invited to Tate Modern to choose an artwork which would inspire them to write a new track. The Chemical Brothers were inspired by Jacob Epstein’s Torso in Metal from ‘The Rock Drill’. I remember when I heard it first time in Tate Modern, standing next to Epstein’s Torso in Metal and feel a great combination within these two pieces.
